We've had some pretty good Superbowl games in the last few years!

I started out pulling for the Steelers. But after seeing how the Cardinals refused to give up, I started pulling for them. Man, just a little different clock strategy and it would have been theirs.

And in terms of commercials, my favorite is still the e-trade golfing baby. I'm not sure if this was technically a "Superbowl commercial"... but I like it.

I thought my saints looked pretty good today. I think they need to work on opening up the running came a little more and also on special teams.

Overall, it was a good game. Maybe it is finally "next year" ???

Wow. What a game. No matter who you wanted to win the superbowl, nobody can say the Giants didn't deserve to win. There wasn't any controversial calls, no big injuries, no huge turnovers... the Patriots just got outplayed - plain and simple. I still think the Patriots of 2007 may be the greatest football team I've ever seen play the game. But on that night, they got beat.

Congratulations to the Giants and all those Giants fans. Congrats to Eli as well. What a game.

My Saints lost last night. Boy did they lose. They fell apart.

Of course, Peyton Manning just seems superhuman. It's like watching Joe Montana all over again.

    Oh well.

I have to admit that I did have my doubts that the Saints could beat the Bears, but it turns out that they really could play with them. The proved to the Bears that they could move the ball against their offense, and they stopped their offense many times, holding them to a field goal 3 times after they were handed the ball in Saints territory due to a turnover.

So, they played with more potential than I thought, and the weather wasn't really an issue like I thought. But still, for some reason, after the safety in the 3rd quarter, they fell apart. I'm not sure why, and I can honestly say that it didn't look characteristic of they way they have played this year. It looked much more like an inexperienced team playing in the NFC championship type issue.

But... it's over. And there is always next year. Us Saints fans are no strangers to waiting for next year :)

    Who Dat!
