A co-worker and I made a quick trip into Lafayette to set up a company exhibit at the University of Louisiana Engineering Day. We had a great time. It was great to go back and to help out the IEEE student branch. After the event, John and I walked a bit around campus. We saw my brick, and also walked around the swamp. Before heading back to Houston, we made a pit stop at Randol's and had some really good boiled crawfish. You can see all the pictures here.

Since my last post, I made a trip to Kennedy Space Center to support the installation of some hardware in a project I have been working on. The hardware was installed on the robotic arm of the space shuttle Atlantis. I got to work in the payload bay, and also work in the cockpit and flight deck!!!. It was an experience of a lifetime. You can see pictures from the installation here.
Also this past week, Christian accepted a position at United Space Alliance (USA). This is great news and we are so happy for Christian. Archives |
